Job Description

Organization Overview
Utah Valley Refugees is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization in Utah County. Our mission is to assist refugees in their quest to become self-reliant. Established in 2016, we help coordinate services such as affordable housing, medical care, employment, and educational services for qualified low-income refugees living in Utah County.

We are hiring a full-time, dual role position to help coordinate our health promotion efforts for refugees and provide initial case management for our newly arriving refugees through the Program for Initial Resettlement in partnership with Church World Service.

Purpose of the Volunteer Provider Network

In collaboration with major health care providers in Utah County, Utah Valley Refugees has created a system through which the uninsured refugees and immigrants obtain needed health care before it becomes an emergency. This program is called the Volunteer Provider Network (VPN) and is the main focus of our health care program. We are working to establish a large network of health providers willing to provide free care to uninsured and low-income refugees.
