Sanderson Ford & Parts Mart are seeking an organized and efficient Auto Parts Delivery Dispatcher to coordinate the timely and accurate delivery of automotive parts to various locations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, keen attention to detail, and proficiency in logistics management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and dispatch delivery drivers for the timely transportation of automotive parts.
- Maintain communication with drivers to provide updates on delivery status and address any issues that arise.
- Monitor and track deliveries to ensure on-time arrival at customers’ locations.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to prioritize shipments based on customer needs and inventory levels.
- Utilize dispatch software and systems to manage routes, schedules, and delivery information.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving delivery-related issues.
- Prepare and maintain accurate delivery logs, reports, and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED; additional education in logistics or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, or customer service, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficient in using dispatch software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge of automotive parts and delivery processes is preferred.
Working Conditions:
- This position may require working in a fast-paced environment with varying hours based on delivery schedules.
- May involve occasional overtime to meet delivery demands.
