Position Summary

The Employee Engagement Analyst plays a critical role in maintaining and optimizing the systems, data, and programs that power the employee experience. This position is a support administrator for the Cornerstone Learning Management System (LMS), the company intranet (Compass, powered by Simpplr), and manages reward and recognition programs. The ideal candidate is a systems-minded, detail-oriented professional who can identify solutions where others see obstacles — someone who thrives in a hybrid role that blends technical troubleshooting with creative execution and data analysis.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Problem Solving & Systems Thinking

  • Ability to diagnose issues across systems, data, and processes - not just execute assigned tasks
  • Demonstrates curiosity and initiative in identifying root causes and proposing solutions
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous situations without step-by-step instructions
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reporting, and system utilization
  • Recommend enhancements to HR processes based on data and user feedback
  • Takes ownership of assigned systems, reports, and processes, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and continuous improvement

Learning Management System (LMS) Administration Support — Cornerstone

  • Serve as support to the system administrator (Mgr of EE Engagement) for Cornerstone LMS, including user management, system configuration, and ongoing troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to LMS functionality, log ins, course assignments, completions, user file feed errors, and reporting
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to build, upload, and maintain eLearning content and learning paths
  • Generate and analyze training completion reports; present findings and recommendations to HR leadership
  • Coordinate with Cornerstone support and Manager of Employee Engagement as needed to resolve system-level issues

Company Intranet — Compass (Simpplr) Back-Up Support

  • Provide basic troubleshooting support and escalate platform issues as needed
  • Serve as a trained back-up administrator for the Compass intranet platform
  • Assist with content updates, page management, and troubleshooting as needed
  • Support the Employee Engagement Manager in maintaining a current, accurate, and engaging intranet presence

Reward & Recognition Programs

  • Administer and coordinate employee recognition programs including service anniversaries, values-based recognition, and birthday acknowledgments
  • Maintain recognition calendars, tracking tools, and automated workflows
  • Ensure timely and consistent delivery of recognition communications and materials

Survey Administration & Data Analytics

  • Compile, analyze, and interpret survey data; develop clear and actionable summary reports for HR leadership
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across HR systems; identify trends and provide insights to inform workforce strategy

Design & Creative Support

  • Assist with the creation of HR communications, presentations, and program materials using Canva
  • Maintain brand consistency across HR-produced content
  • Support the Employee Engagement Manager with design needs for newsletters, announcements, and campaigns

Back-Up Support — Employee Engagement Manager

  • Serve as a cross-trained back-up for the Employee Engagement Manager, with working knowledge of employee communications, development program logistics, and intranet management
  • Step in as needed to ensure continuity of HR programs and communications

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of HR, HRIS, or related system or analytical experience
  • Prior experience with an LMS platform required; Cornerstone experience strongly preferred
  • Prior experience with employee communications solutions including employee intranet, and graphic design using Canva
  • Self-driven problem solver who independently researches questions and system issues by leveraging documentation, online resources, and available training platforms before escalating, demonstrating accountability and a commitment to continuous learning.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong systems aptitude — able to learn new platforms quickly and troubleshoot independently
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data validation, building structured datasets, troubleshoot data issues, and create reporting outputs, etc.)
  • Proficiency in Canva or similar design tools
  • Experience with survey platforms (ADP, Simpplr)
  • Familiarity with intranet platforms (Simpplr experience a plus)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Discreet and professional in handling sensitive and confidential HR information

Preferred

  • Experience with Smartsheet or similar project management tools
  • Familiarity with eLearning content development (Articulate, Rise, etc.)

Working Conditions

  • This position is on-site in Russellville
  • Occasional extended hours may be required during peak program cycles, open enrollment periods, or system implementations
