Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Repair Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing Tri Tool's product line and ensuring inventory is performance ready. Responsibilities include post rental assessment, diagnosis, planning of actual repair/refurbishment work as required, final operability testing, and complete process documentation of all Tri Tool machinery. Provides troubleshooting and maintenance support for products and equipment, either in Tri Tool facilities or in the field. Identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders, and replaces parts as needed.

TYPICAL DUTIES:

1. *Performs installation/setup support, diagnostic analysis, repair, and preventative maintenance on Tri Tool's products

2. *Assists delivery trucks in the unloading of incoming shipments, and the loading of outgoing shipments.

3. *Completes shipping paperwork and packing slips for accurate tracking records.

4. *Sets up and conducts functional and verification testing of all Tri Tool products.

5. *Responsible for final repair and product quality, which includes but is not limited to repairing and repackaging Tri Tool products for return shipment or restock.

6. *Evaluates Tri Tool rental/lease equipment for readiness prior to shipping.

7. *Inspects and repairs Tri Tool rental equipment when returned or through warranty, documents actual work performed for asset history reporting and reports all obvious misuse of equipment.

8. *Maintains a clean and safe facility.

9. Assists other technicians as needed.

10. Provides backup and completes duties to support the lease manager.

11. Travel between facilities may be required.

12. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned.

13. Perform other tasks within the area of responsibility as required by the Company

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

· Five or more years of work experience in mechanical

· Ability to safely operate power tools and forklifts with little to no supervision

· Basic computer skills with MS Office, Excel, and familiar with ERP software interfaces

· Customer service skills to act responsively to customer inquiries and requests; and escalate the more difficult matters appropriately

· Ability to build effective working relationships with staff, customers and others

· Communication skills to provide procedural and information, and to follow written and oral instructions

· Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities

· Demonstrated organizational, problem solving and common-sense skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Experience with gas-tungsten/gas metal welding arc characteristics and phenomenon preferred

· Ability to understand electronic and hydraulic schematic and wiring diagrams

· Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

High School Diploma or GED

Technical/other training

CERTIFICATES OR LICENSES REQUIRED:

The following licenses or certificates may be required depending on local, state and/or contract requirements:

Valid Driver's License

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance:

• Maneuvering to and around equipment
• Bending, kneeling, stooping, and reaching
• Lifting and moving equipment up to 50 pounds
• Climbing ladders or step stools
• Monitoring gauges, controls, and/or computer systems

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed in a manufacturing and warehouse environment with forklifts, material handling and production equipment, as well as an office setting. May be exposed to noise from equipment and depending on external weather conditions exposure to heat, cold, wind, and rain.
