For over 100 years, Skaalen has been a trusted part of the community, providing housing and services to older adults and individuals in need. Our campus is more than a workplace — it’s a community, and our maintenance team plays a vital role in keeping it safe, functional, and welcoming.

• Perform outdoor grounds maintenance across campus

• Lawn care, landscaping, and snow removal

• Maintain sidewalks, parking lots, and outdoor common areas

• Complete routine and requested repairs in resident condos

• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues

• Respond to maintenance work orders in a timely manner

• Operate and maintain grounds and maintenance equipment

• Assist with seasonal and weather-related maintenance

• Enjoys hands-on work indoors and outdoors

• Reliable, self-motivated, and detail-oriented

• Takes pride in quality repairs and appearance

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

• Valid driver’s license preferred

• Ability to lift, bend, and perform physical labor
