Job Summary: The Director of Operations will oversee and optimize all aspects of our wholesale juice and liquid production, wholesale bakery, supply chain management, and IT/business systems. This role requires a strategic leader with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality. The successful candidate will possess a can-do mindset, demonstrating a willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done successfully.

Key Responsibilities:

Wholesale Juice and Liquid Production:

  • Ensure safety, efficiency, and quality in all production processes.
  • Oversee daily operations and manage production schedules.
  • Implement and maintain industry best practices.
  • Work with sales, marketing, retail, and other departments to develop a new product introduction roadmap aimed at developing and introducing high-quality, high-demand, high-margin products that can be produced utilizing our current production equipment.

Wholesale Bakery:

  • Manage and optimize bakery operations with a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and quality.
  • Ensure all products meet our high standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments to align production with business needs.
  • Work with sales, marketing, retail, and other departments to develop a new product introduction roadmap aimed at developing and introducing high-quality, high-demand, high-margin products that can be produced utilizing our current production equipment.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Lead purchasing and inventory management efforts.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
  • Optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Create and execute a cost savings roadmap.

IT and Business Systems:

  • Oversee IT program management.
  • Develop and implement a successful post-launch plan for NetSuite ERP, Revel, and Toast POS systems.
  • Ensure business systems support overall company goals and operations.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Update, redefine, and tweak job descriptions for team members as needed.
  • Ensure the right people are in the right roles.
  • Coach, mentor, and guide team members to achieve their best performance.
  • Work on-site 5-6 days a week, with the understanding that the initial workload will be demanding but will ease as the business gets in order.
