Job Description
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Managing IFS activities for customer and supplier materials, providing IFS documentation and coordinating activities with the Reynosa plant.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Everyday follow the quality inspector WH standard work , also review notification and emails to define priorities for the day
2. Participate in quality meeting with Reynosa team to see any ongoing activity and prepare actions (some time quality meeting with New Berlin Quality manager
3. Line walks at Warehouse to see any critical item to give priority material ready to ship to customers , or components that need to send to Reynosa
4. Review components list on IFS to give disposition to avoid late delivery to Reynosa
5. IMIR’s for all the components arriving to USA warehouse and enter the results in IFS, so when the material arrives to Reynosa can go directly to locations
6. Manage any rejection from the results of the IMIRs, create an NCMR and coordinate any inspection in Pharr before releasing the material to Reynosa with the supplier, so we can avoid pay taxes to return back rejected material.
7. Move the rejected material in IFS for non-nettable status if is rejected, so the Reynosa buyers can see the status immediately
8. Coordinate any samples either component or FG to be crossed to Reynosa and fill out the shipping documents for the samples, so these can be crossed on time
9. Perform IATF Internal Audit to the Warehouse
10. Support to HSE for the material that goes to scrap collected by the 3rd party recycle company
11. Inspect all FG returned by the Customer and notify the responsible for following the disposal
12. Review all samples coming from NB for the proper shipping documentation and coordinate with the Reynosa team the collection
13. Review and follow up PPAP sample shipped from Reynosa to the Customers
14. Coordinate sorting for FG material in Kanban in case quality report any internal/external complaints and add certification label in every box
15. Coordinate with the warehouse supervisor, material that has a new rev, reviewing follow the FIFO, so we can avoid having wrong material for the change
16. Participate in a daily meeting to review the material with Reynosa teams
17. Coordinate with materials/receiving all rejected components
18. Audit that the FIFO is followed either components or FG
19. Perform dock audits to material shipped to the Customers
20. Perform cycle counts
Job knowledge :
Internal IATF 16949 :2016 auditor (preferent ) , sampling plans , IFS system
nonconforming material procedure, NCMRs process
Requirements:High school education or equivalent required.
Requires ability to read blueprints. Also requires 3 years previous related work experience in manufacturing/distribution, including 3 years quality experience . Prior forklift operation and picking/packing experience.
