About This Position
Parkview Health is seeking a Central Fill Pharmacy Technician to join our growing Parkview Integrated Pharmacy (PIP) team. We are looking for a technician that is ready to step into the future of pharmacy. This role is for day shift hours with no evenings or weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Primarily focus on inventory, filling, packing, shipping, and toting processes within the Integrated Pharmacy.
- Accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions to meet operational demands.
- Support supply management and assist with inventory-related tasks as needed.
- Contribute to enhancing and improving automated filling procedures through creative problem-solving.
- Perform a variety of tasks related to pharmacy operations and technology-driven workflows.
- Work collaboratively with team members to foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
- Adhere to all applicable pharmacy regulations and compliance standards.
- Maintain precision and attention to detail during all aspects of the order fulfillment process.
Note: This position does not involve direct patient interactions.
Qualifications:
- Licensure: Must possess and maintain a valid Indiana Pharmacy Technician license as required by the State of Indiana.
- Technology Skills: Proficiency with technology, particularly in automated systems and workflows.
- Adaptability: Willingness to learn and succeed with provided training on existing technology/automation processes.
- Communication: Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Team Orientation: Strong collaboration and teamwork skills to foster a supportive environment.
- Self-Motivation: Demonstrated ability to work independently while driving productivity and innovation.
- Multitasking: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining efficiency and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
