ABA Program Director
Position Summary: The ABA Program Director is responsible for overseeing the operational, and administrative functions of the ABA program. This individual must be highly detail-oriented, possess strong leadership capabilities, and demonstrate the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role requires familiarity with Medicaid regulations, compliance standards, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Program Oversight
●Provide strategic leadership and direction for the ABA program.
● Supervise and support clinical and administrative staff.
● Ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to best practices.
● Develop and implement program policies and procedures.
● Foster a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Compliance & Regulatory Oversight
● Ensure compliance with Medicaid, state, and federal regulations.
● Monitor documentation standards and clinical quality assurance.
● Collaborate with compliance and billing teams to mitigate risk.
● Maintain readiness for audits and regulatory reviews.
Operational Management
● Oversee staffing, scheduling, and caseload management.
● Partner with intake and HR teams to support program growth.
● Monitor performance metrics and program efficiency.
● Identify workflow improvements and implement operational enhancements.
Clinical Collaboration
● Work closely with BCBAs, LBAs, and Behavior Technicians.
● Support treatment planning and program development.
● Provide guidance in complex clinical or ethical situations.
Cross-Department Collaboration
● Coordinate with HR, billing, intake, and compliance departments.
● Address escalated client concerns in a professional manner.
● Support organizational initiatives and leadership directives.
Qualifications
● Healthcare management experience required.
● Experience in ABA or behavioral health preferred.
● Strong understanding of Medicaid regulations and reimbursement processes.
● Demonstrated leadership and team management experience.
● Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
● Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
● Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
● Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
