About This Position
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining data within the company's databases. This role involves regular data entry and maintenance, and the generation of various reports. The associate will ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive data, collaborate with colleagues and quality control teams, and comply with all data integrity and security policies.
Requirements:Duties / Responsibilities:
• Accurately input, update, and maintain data in company databases.
• Collect and enter data from various sources into the company computer system for processing and management.
• Review data for errors or inconsistencies, correct any discrepancies, and verify output.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data before final submission.
• Regularly update databases and perform database backups as necessary.
• Protect digital databases and archives from security breaches and data losses.
• Generate billing reports and maintain booking records, both digital and physical copies.
• Log client counts and pull reports from Netsort.
• Extract data from Business Manager for processing.
• Scan and sort all count sheets, organizing them effectively for easy retrieval.
• Perform checks and balances for each machine to ensure accurate reporting.
• Reconcile discrepancies in data reports, verifying data accuracy and making corrections as needed.
• Other job duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Competencies:
• Must have a high level of confidentiality and data integrity.
• Must be able to work and collaborate in a team environment for data collection.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel primarily and additionally other MS Office Applications.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to generate and interpret detailed reports.
Education and Experience:
• High School Diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in data management or related fields are a plus.
• Proven experience in data entry, quality control, and database management.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
• This position typically operates in an office environment.
• Prolonged periods of standing at the workstation.
• Extended periods of sitting, focused reading, and computer usage.
• Flexibility in handling additional duties as required.
• May be exposed to a loud noise environment.
• May be exposed to dust due to production.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 lbs.
• Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
