Driver in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania at Gateway Rehabilitation Center

Gateway Rehab in Center Township, PA is looking for a Full-time Driver who is responsible for completing transportation requests. This position receives frequent supervision and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Completes the daily transportation requests made by staff, including banking and post office pickups and deliveries.
• Makes minor repairs to Gateway vehicles.
• Changes the oil in Gateway vehicles.
• Functions as a maintenance helper as workload permits.
• Performs some mailroom duties as needed.
• Attends mandatory GRC in-services and trainings.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Ability to drive a car or van.
• Ability to communicate well with others.
• Good listening skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimal maintenance skills.

Additional Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Pass PA Criminal Background Check.
• Obtain Child Abuse and FBI Clearances.
• Pass Drug Screen.
• 2-Step TB Test.

Work Conditions

• Substance use disorder treatment center.
• Favorable working conditions with the exception of inclement weather driving.
• Physical demands include lifting of moderate amounts of weight and sitting for extended periods.
• Moderate mental demands include assurance of well-maintained vehicles and adapting to schedule changes.
