About This Position
Barton & Gray Mariners Club is revolutionizing the yachting industry with best-in-class hospitality. As an exclusive yacht club, we provide private and memorable outings across 35+ stunning harbors. Our growing service team is seeking an experienced Marine Detailer to join our club, this position is based out of West Palm Beach, FL with occasional travel to surrounding marinas on the Florida West Coast.
The Marine Detailing Team Member is responsible for cleaning, restoring, and maintaining the appearance of our Hinkley and custom yachts. This team member must possess a keen eye for detail, be highly skilled in various cleaning and polishing techniques, and have a thorough understanding of materials and surfaces commonly found on boats.

Responsibilities:Washing and cleaning the exterior of Barton & Gray yachtsUse of correct products used for compounding, polishing, and waxing of yachtsPrepping, sanding, and painting boat bottomsInspect boat surfaces for scratches, dents, or damage, and report any findings to the service teamMaintain a clean and organized work areaMaintain a good working relationship with Captains and other support staffAdditional duties assigned by managerRequirementsValid and unencumbered Driver’s LicenseKnowledge of various boat materials, surfaces, and cleaning productsEssential Job RequirementsAbility to get on and off boats in both the water and on the hardAbility to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditionsMust to able to climb ladders and scaffolding when necessaryMust be able to kneel, crouch, and reach overhead frequentlyMust be able to wear a respirator and other PPE as required
