Qualifications
Minimum Education
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing; or a Bachelors in another field and a Master’s degree in Nursing
Masters in Nursing or Healthcare Administration required. Will consider candidates working towards completion of the degree.
National Certification relative to role is preferredMinimum Work Experience
A minimum of 5 to 10 years of progressive management experience with demonstrated leadership and management skills towards leading nursing indicators
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Perioperative setting. Operating Room experience preferred for this roleRequired Skills
Ability to evaluate statistical data for use in planning and monitoring operations and budgets
Has proven skills in developing high performance teams
Demonstrates an understanding of federal, state, and private payment systems
Capable of resolving escalated issues require for operation and coordination of interdepartmental, and interhospital collaboration
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Collaborates with other executives in the organization about making decisions about health care services, settings, and organizational priorities.
Promotes a practice environment that empowers nurses and others to provide effective, compassionate, and efficient care
