About This Position

As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer, you will be the bridge between design and manufacturing. You are the critical link that ensures a product moves from a build-to-print or in-house prototype to a high-quality, scalable, manufactured product. • · Continuous Improvement: Identify bottlenecks during pilot runs and implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to streamline production.
  • · Project Management: Own the NPI schedule. You’ll manage timelines from the prototype phase through the final "hand-off" to the high-volume manufacturing team.
  • · Support: Support existing products released in manufacturing in process improvements (build dynamics, fixtures, improve efficiencies) and support procurement raw material build transition from one vendor to another
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and experience with Oracle and Agile ERP/PLM systems. Use of 3D printers.
  • Analytical Mindset: Strong grasp of statistical process control (SPC) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Prior history of launching hardware products in a regulated industry (e.g., Medical, Aerospace, or Automotive).
