Senior Estimator / Project Manager at Driggers Construction LLC – Hamer, South Carolina

Job Overview:

• Company: Driggers Construction LLC.

• Salary/Pay Rate: $115,000 to $135,000 per year plus Year-End Bonus.

• Location: Onsite (Hamer, South Carolina).

• Job/Employment Type: Full-Time.

• Schedule: Monday Friday.

• Project Scope: Commercial, Industrial, and Government/Federal Civil Construction.

• Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: Driver License.

The Opportunity: You will serve as a cornerstone of our project management division, bridging the gap between complex estimation and successful field execution. This role empowers you to lead high-stakes heavy highway and utility projects while driving the financial and operational success of a growing family-owned business.

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Execute comprehensive takeoffs and estimates for heavy highway DOT, commercial site work, and utility projects.

• Manage the full project lifecycle from initial bid phase through final delivery to ensure profitability and quality.

• Coordinate with field leadership to align project schedules with estimated budgets and resource allocations.

• Strengthen company growth by identifying and securing competitive bids in the industrial and federal sectors.

• Utilize advanced software suites to maintain precise cost-control and real-time project reporting.

• Direct communication with stakeholders and vendors to negotiate contracts and streamline procurement.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil construction estimation and project management.

• Proven proficiency with HCSS HeavyBid, HeavyJob, and Agtek software.

• Extensive background managing heavy highway DOT work and large-scale utility installations.

• Strong self-starter mentality with the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.

• Extensive experience in setting up schedules and maintaining job timelines, as well as a history of excellent time management.

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

• Demonstrated success in managing diverse project portfolios including industrial and government contracts.

• Bilingual in Spanish.

• Advanced technical knowledge of Agtek for detailed earthwork and site modeling.

• Experience mentoring junior staff to foster a culture of professional advancement.
