About This Position

Summary

We are looking for a full-time, on-site Scheduling Logistics Specialist based in Rothschild, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day scheduling and logistics to ensure timely and efficient project completion. Responsibilities include managing and optimizing schedules, coordinating supply chain processes, handling inventory management, communicating with builders and teams, and ensuring excellent customer service. You will play a critical role in streamlining operations and contributing to the continued success of the home buying experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods and materials

  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials

  • Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate records of stock

  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and transportation companies to procure necessary materials and negotiate favorable terms

  • Plan and execute demand planning strategies to meet customer requirements

  • Utilize transportation management systems to optimize freight movement and track shipments

  • Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for logistics processes

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to transportation and logistics

  • Communicate production and scheduling updates to Managers and Builders on a regular basis.

  • Manages the scheduling process, scheduling progress, revising schedules, resolving problems and reporting results.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    Strong analytical skills to assess and optimize scheduling and logistics processes
  • Strong phone communication and customer service abilities to interact with builders, vendors, and team members professionally
  • Proficiency in inventory management and supply chain management to ensure smooth operations
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in relevant scheduling and logistics software is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, on-site environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong analytical skills, supply chain management expertise, and the ability to coordinate logistics operations effectively

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a business-related field OR a minimum of 2 years’ related experience in a manufacturing or construction related field
  • Demonstrated understanding of basic supply chain processes and procedures
  • Knowledge and understanding of the construction process/procedures/materials is a plus
  • The ideal candidate will bring an organized approach to business and manufacturing, strong communication skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to motivate suppliers and customers.
