About This Position

POSITION TITLE: Operator

REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Production Supervisor

PAY STRUCTURE: Hourly

PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION: Produce horns, compressors, and other components per customer requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Good reading, writing, communication, and math skills are necessary for following written instructions and completing required documentation.
  • Ability to read/understand bills of material
  • 1 -2 years’ light assembly experience preferred.
  • Awareness and understanding of proper procedures to ensure safe use of assembly.
  • Attention to detail and sense of urgency to meet customer needs
  • Work with minimal supervision individual and as a team
  • Computer literate
  • No known allergies to glue/paint/silicone
  • Ability to lift 40# without assistance

    • RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build truck components per the customer requirements and quality systems
  • Compliance to standardized work using first/last piece inspection, audit log, work instructions and other processes to ensure consistent quality and productivity.
  • Clean and maintain work area per cleanliness/5S standards
  • Comply with all safety regulations including personal protective equipment

    • Monday - Thursday
    6:00am - 4:30pm
    40 hours per week with potential OT
