About the Job


The Manager Rehabilitation Operations provides strategic and day to day operational oversight for all Rehabilitation services, ensuring cohesive performance across supervisory teams, office and administrative staff, and clinical teams. This role drives efficient workflows, supports high quality patient care, and maintains regulatory and quality compliance across all service areas. This role leads cross-disciplinary coordination, removes operational barriers, and strengthens team engagement, productivity, and resource utilization. Reporting directly to the Director of Rehabilitation Services, this position is entrusted with delegated authority to make operational decisions, advance improvement initiatives, and elevate departmental performance across all rehabilitation settings.

Responsibilities

  • Manages daily operations across assigned rehabilitation settings (inpatient, outpatient, specialty programs)
  • Translates strategic goals into operational plans, workflows, and performance expectations
  • Monitors productivity, staffing, scheduling, and capacity management
  • Ensures adherence to clinical standards, documentation requirements, and payer guidelines
  • Supports budget management through labor optimization, supply oversight, and expense control
  • Collaborates with physicians, nursing, case management, and ancillary departments to optimize
  • Patient flow and outcomes
  • Leads operational improvement initiatives using data and performance metrics
  • Supports recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development
  • Escalates operational risks, access issues, and performance concerns proactively
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential job function
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Competent to meet age-specific needs of the unit assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Masters degree in a Rehabilitation discipline or a Healthcare related field required
  • Active Idaho licensed physical therapist, occupational therapist or speech/language pathologist preferred
  • Minimum of 5 to 7 years’ of rehabilitation experience including a minimum of 2 years leadership experience required
  • Strong operational, analytical, and team leadership skills
  • Experience with productivity management, scheduling systems, and performance metrics
