Assists in meeting the total care needs and requirements of the operating room patient by performing designated activities.

Associates or Vocational degree from an accredited Surgical Technical program required. BLS required. CST through National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) or CSA certification through National Surgical Assistant Association (NSAA) required. Avade workplace violence prevention training (Level II) required after hire, not to exceed 3 months, and maintained annually.
