Certified First Assist at Baptist Health Deaconess Madisonville – Madisonville, Kentucky

Assists surgeon in performing surgical and clinical procedures. Functions as surgeon’s chief assistant in the operating room and when providing care to patients.

• Associates or Vocational degree from an accredited Surgery Assistant program
• Hold either CSFA (Certified Surgical First Assistant) from NBSTSA (National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting) or CSA (Certified Surgical Assistant) from NCCSA (National Commission for the Certification of Surgical Assistants)
• BCLS
• 6-12 months experience preferred
