Senior Contract Manager, Managed Care at Prospect CharterCARE, LLC – Providence, Rhode Island

Summary:The Senior Contract Manager, Contract Manager is responsible for the implementation and facilitation of managed care contracts, contract compliance, and related activities for CharterCARE Health Partner System under the direction of the Senior Director, Managed Care Operations and Payer Relation.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in health care administration or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of 7 years’ of managed care contracting for multi-hospital system and or health plan(s) and reimbursement analysis in either a provider or payer setting required. Experience with risk and value-based arrangements.

Skills and Abilities:

• Extensive knowledge, experience and expertise in managed care contracting, negotiations, language, modeling analytics, reimbursement methodologies on behalf of hospitals, physicians, and ancillary providers.
• Experience with risk based and quality / shared savings program contracting, negotiations, metrics, and methodologies.
• Excellent quantitative, financial, and analytical skills.
• Excellent understanding of the Revenue Cycle preferred.
• Strong Leadership, self-motivated, and highly organized.
• Ability to handle multiple projects and perform independently under tight deadlines with a focus of effective implementation, clear and consistent communication, and follow-up.
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
