Credit Analyst at Equitable Bank – Omaha, Nebraska

Job Summary:

The Credit Analyst will be responsible for the investigation and analysis of credit risks while working within guidelines established by the company.

Essential Functions:

• Prepare loan presentations for approval using the bank’s current analysis software to Loan Committees and to individual loan officers.
• Prepare loan reviews for Senior Loan Committee review.
• Attend meetings with existing and prospective loan customers.
• Assist lenders in any collection activities as needed.
• Update financial information and risk information.
• Assist all lending personnel in compliance.
• Prepare troubled asset reports.
• Assist in credit card administration and underwriting.
• Willingness for ongoing training and development.
• Maintain keen knowledge of bank’s loan policy.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred but not required.
• 1+ years customer service experience.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in Commercial & Ag lending and/or Credit Analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent communication skills, including verbal and phone.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and ensure accurate and timely completion of all tasks.
• Excellent analytical skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
