As a Restaurant Assistant, you play an important role in supporting our service team by assisting with the delivery, clearing, and overall flow of food and beverages throughout each guest’s dining experience. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support servers in delivering attentive, polished food and beverage service, embracing the mindset that “every table is your station”.
- Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, assisting with menus, specials, and promotions as needed.
- Accurately take and enter food and beverage orders into the POS system and ensure timely, precise delivery from the kitchen or bar.
- Confirm order accuracy and check in with guests throughout the meal to ensure satisfaction.
- Demonstrate full knowledge of menu and bar offerings and confidently make recommendations.
- Assist with clearing, resetting, and maintaining tables to support smooth service flow.
- Complete opening, running, and closing side work to keep service areas organized and prepared.
- Adhere to all state and federal alcohol service regulations, including verifying guest age and monitoring responsible consumption.
- Work collaboratively with the service and culinary teams to create a seamless guest experience.
- Participate in ongoing training, review shift notes, attend meetings, and uphold all company policies and service standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be authorized to work in the United States and provide proper documentation.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as part of a dynamic restaurant schedule
- Capable of handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25 lbs., bend, climb, and reach overhead.
- Strong communication skills and a warm, professional demeanor
