Position: Bar Back

Job Type: Part-Time/Full-Time

Job Summary: As a bar back at Delbar, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our bar area. You will assist our bartenders by maintaining a clean and organized bar, restocking supplies, and providing excellent support to create a seamless guest experience. This position is perfect for individuals who are enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Restock bar supplies, such as liquor, mixers, garnishes, and napkins.
• Ensure that all necessary items are readily available for bartenders to prepare drinks efficiently.
• Dispose of empty bottles and trash in accordance with the restaurant's guidelines.
• Maintain appearance and cleanliness of bar alongside bartenders.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels and reporting any shortages.
• Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages to guests once beverage knowledge is demonstrated.
• Provide exceptional customer service by promptly fulfilling guest requests.
• Collaborate with the bar and waitstaff to ensure a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Qualifications:

• Previous bar back or restaurant experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to teamwork.
• Excellent communication skills.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs safely, with or without reasonable accommodationAbility to stand and move for extended periods throughout the shiftAbility to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions in a fast-paced environment
