Senior Leadership Opportunity!

We are searching for a Senior Director of Clinical Programs and Services to lead our Integrated Health and Human Services (IHHS) teams in Arizona. Bring your trauma-informed clinical leadership to teams who empower individuals to overcome barriers on their way to healing and new beginnings.

HYBRID REMOTE in ARIZONA
You will be able to work hybrid remotely and overall have flexible scheduling for work-life balance. However, you will be expected to travel to various sites and adapt as needed in order to support all your leaders and their staff and programs fully.

HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?
As the Sr. Director of Clinical Programs and Services you will lead the overall clinical/psychiatric programming and service delivery. Existing programs include residential, out-patient, school-based behavioral health, SMI services and programming, and trauma recovery programming. You will be the driver for the continued success and growth of existing programs as well as expanding service lines to provide a comprehensive system and continuum of care.

Leadership development, oversight of fiscal responsibilities, growth opportunity creation and talent management will be key priorities. You will actively engage and guide your director leadership team and interact with program staff, overseeing programs in various cities and traveling to program locations. Additionally, you will ensure quality of services, compliance with licensing and contract regulations, timely reporting, and appropriate utilization and use of funds.

Working alongside program leadership, your team will establish and guide a strategic vision and guiding philosophy that will inform short and long-term goals of programming. The Sr. Director of Clinical Programs and Services upholds agency mission and collaborates with managers, program directors and other team members. Duties will include supervision, monitoring, evaluations, working closely with funding source(s), and interacting with compliance, quality, and billing departments as well as the development and implementation of new programs that fall within the integrated health model.


WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD SR. DIRECTOR?
You are clinically licensed with management experience and skills relevant to creating and sustaining infrastructure in support of health and human services within a nonprofit organization. You are proficient in budget management and analysis and have a demonstrated history of contract compliance. You possess excellent initiative, flexibility, and stress-management in handling the demands of leadership. You have awareness and sensitivity to cultural issues and community practices of low-income and at-risk families, including dual language speakers.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Must be an independently licensed behavioral health professional in the State of Arizona, which includes one of the following licenses issued by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (AZBBHE) or Arizona Board of Psychologist Examiners:
    • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
    • Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)
    • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
    • Licensed Independent Substance Abuse Counselor (LISAC)
    • Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD)
  • The license must be current, active, and in good standing with the respective board.
    • If not currently licensed in Arizona, the candidate must obtain the required independent license within 30 days of hire and maintain compliance thereafter.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a behavioral health setting, including staff development, performance evaluation, and clinical oversight.
  • Ability to practice independently without supervision to provide clinical supervision and services to include assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, psychotherapy, and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of Arizona statutes and rules governing behavioral health practice, including HIPAA, Title 9, and other applicable compliance standards.
  • Ability to travel as often as needed to maintain quality programs.

  • Excellent documentation and clinical skills.
  • Proven ability to follow-up and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and delegate to balance the many responsibilities, and address the various issues that a leader faces during the workday.
