Machine Operators - Rotating Shift at New Tech Global Staffing – Conroe, Texas

New Tech Global Staffing is currently seeking a Machine Operator – Manufacturing for a client located in Conroe, TX to join our team. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity.

Pay:
$20/hour (Day Shift)
$21/hour (Night Shift with $1/hour differential)

Schedule:
Rotating Schedule – 30 Days Day Shift / 30 Days Night Shift

Summary:
We are seeking a mechanically inclined Machine Operator to join a fast-paced paper manufacturing team. This role involves operating and maintaining production machinery, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring efficient operations in a non-climate-controlled, dusty environment. Candidates must be comfortable with physical labor and industrial conditions.

Responsibilities
• Operate, monitor, and maintain paper converting or production machines
• Respond quickly to machine jams or breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Perform minor mechanical repairs and adjustments
• Conduct visual and manual inspections to ensure product quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Accurately document production data and machine performance
• Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE
• Rotate between day and night shifts every 30 days

Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Must have 3-5 years experience in manufacturing
• Willingness to work rotating shifts
• Dependable, self-motivated, and safety-conscious
• Must wear steel-toe boots

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with paper converting, cutting, or packaging machinery
• Familiarity with lockout/tagout and other safety procedures
