PD A: Paramedic Active at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

Willis-Knighton is seeking a National Registry EMT - Paramedic who attends ALS and BLS patients transported by the Willis-Knighton Ambulance service. The paramedic is required to have ACLS and PALS and BLS active certifications. Must have the ability to obtain Louisiana appropriate license for your certification level. This full-time position duties include but not limited to ambulance inspection for cleanness and proper equipment and medical supplies. Ordering supplies through the Asst. Director and maintaining ready response vehicles for patient transports. Monthly inspections of ALS equipment and medicine bags for current supply levels and expiration dates. Patient chart audits and signed PCS forms will require monthly inspections. The Paramedic will work cooperatively with other transport team members & demonstrates good public relation skills in dealing with physicians, nurses, hospitals, and referral agencies. They will also maintain professional behavior and represents Willis-Knighton in a positive manner. At least one year of experience in patient care is required for this position and you must have a clear chauffeurs driver's license.
