Job Description

Description:

Position Summary

The Manager, Sales Enablement & Integration builds the capability of the sales force and leads the commercial integration of acquired businesses — turning strategy, product knowledge, and reorganization intent into field-ready skills and a fast, repeatable path to the first cross-pillar win. Reporting to the VP, Commercial Excellence, this role combines role-based playbooks, training, and certification with Day-1 readiness, change management, and cross-pillar rollout.

This role shortens ramp-up time — for new hires and for sellers joining through acquisition alike — and standardizes how Relevant sells. It coordinates across HR, Corporate Development, Finance, IT, Marketing, and Line Sales & Pillar Leaders to keep skills, structure, and adoption moving together.

Core Areas of Focus

Sales Enablement & Capability Building

Onboarding & Ramp-Up

• Design and run a structured new-hire program with clear ramp-up milestones

• Lead onboarding and ramp-up for sellers joining through acquisition

Playbooks & Content

• Build role-based playbooks, the cross-sell motion, and sales-process guidance

• Develop field-ready collateral in partnership with Marketing

Training & Certification

• Deliver product and supplier certifications and a skills curriculum

• Support managers with coaching frameworks

Enablement Technology & Measurement

• Own enablement tools/Learning Management System (LMS); track ramp-up metrics and competency scorecards with Commercial Analytics & Reporting

SME Partnership

• Partner with pillar leaders and suppliers for subject-matter expertise and technical training

Commercial Integration & Cross-Pillar Rollout

Acquisition Integration Planning

• Own Day-1 readiness and 100-day commercial integration plans

• Take the commercial diligence hand-off from Corporate Development

Account & Territory Onboarding

• Map acquired accounts and reps into pillars and territories with Sales and Sales Compensation & Incentives

Systems & Data Migration

• Coordinate onboarding acquired businesses to systems-of-record (CRM, P21, etc.), partnering with Commercial Systems and Finance (dimensional mapping)

Cross-Pillar Motion Rollout

• Standardize the rules of engagement and cross-sell playbook; lead change management for the reorganization

• Draft and maintain the formal exception process for opportunities requiring reassignment after seller inaction (e.g., Money Map auto-redeploy rules), in partnership with Sales Compensation & Incentives on sales credit implications

• Own ongoing arbitration of account/territory disputes between Account Managers, Business Development Managers, and Sales Leaders under the cross-pillar Rules of Engagement

Value Capture & Tracking

• Track cross-sell and synergy capture with Commercial Analytics & Reporting; report progress to the CCO and executive team

• Execute other projects as the business develops and grows

Requirements:

Qualifications

  • 6–10 years of experience spanning sales enablement/training/L&D and integration/PMO/commercial operations, preferably for technical/industrial B2B products
  • Experience building onboarding programs, role-based playbooks, and instructional content; familiarity with enablement/LMS platforms
  • Demonstrated experience leading M&A sales/commercial integration and change management
  • Strong program-management skills across multiple stakeholders; ability to influence and drive execution without direct authority
  • Credibility with a field sales force and strong facilitation skills
  • Comfort operating within commercial, financial, and systems workstreams simultaneously
  • Ability to partner with HR, Marketing, Finance, IT, Corporate Development, and product/supplier SMEs
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Communications, or related field required; PMP or L&D credential a plus
