Job Description

Brand Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Brand Designer based in Australia.

This is a high-ownership, craft-driven design role within a fast-moving product and marketing environment where brand expression spans campaigns, web, motion, and events. You’ll work as part of a small, specialist brand team embedded closely with marketing and cross-functional partners across the organization. The role blends strong visual craft with systems thinking, requiring someone who can take ideas from concept through to shipped execution without heavy hand-holding. You’ll contribute to evolving a modern brand ecosystem, including scalable templates, design systems, and AI-assisted creative workflows. The environment is collaborative but autonomous, with a strong emphasis on accountability, experimentation, and continuous improvement. It’s well suited to a designer who wants to expand beyond pure execution into broader brand building and systems ownership.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will own the creation and execution of brand experiences across multiple channels while ensuring consistency, craft, and scalability across all outputs. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contribute to the evolution of brand systems and creative workflows.

  • Develop end-to-end brand and campaign assets across digital, print, social, events, and motion, ensuring high-quality execution from concept to delivery
  • Design and ship web experiences, working with no-code/low-code tools or collaborating with development teams to bring ideas into production
  • Create motion and video assets including brand animations, product storytelling, and event content
  • Build and maintain scalable brand systems, templates, and self-serve design tools for broader organizational use
  • Contribute to AI-assisted design workflows, improving how creative work is produced, scaled, and distributed
  • Audit brand consistency across channels and improve alignment through systems, guidelines, and tooling
  • Partner early with Marketing, Sales, and Product teams to shape creative direction from brief through execution
  • Evaluate the performance of design work and iterate based on insights and outcomes
Requirements:

You are a well-rounded brand designer with strong visual craft and a portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership of shipped work. You are comfortable operating in fast-moving, collaborative environments and enjoy building systems that scale creative output.

  • 3–6 years of experience in brand design, with a strong portfolio showcasing range, craft, and strategic thinking
  • Strong fundamentals in typography, layout, color, and composition (motion skills are a plus if primary focus)
  • Experience in agency environments with a desire to own projects end-to-end in a product or in-house setting
  • Proven experience in motion design, brand animation, or product storytelling
  • Familiarity with no-code or low-code tools and their application in web or marketing design
  • Experience building design systems, templates, or enablement tools used by non-designers
  • Practical understanding of AI tools in creative workflows, with informed opinions on their strengths and limitations
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive work independently from concept to delivery
  • Bonus: experience with AI build tools (e.g., Claude Code, Codex, Lovable, or Figma Make) and front-end or web production workflows
  • Bonus: experience in SaaS, B2B, or technology-driven environments, ideally working across time zones
Benefits:
  • Flexible remote-first working environment, with support to work from anywhere
  • Opportunity to join a fast-growing technology company in the PropTech space
  • Competitive and equitable compensation package
  • Generous paid parental leave policy
  • Employee assistance programs supporting mental and physical wellbeing
  • Monthly wellness and home office stipends
  • Inclusive and supportive culture focused on growth, ownership, and collaboration
