Your Role


As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for performing visual and dimensional inspections of customer-owned parts throughout all stages of production. You will ensure compliance with manufacturer engine manuals, FAA/EASA regulations, customer requirements, and internal procedures.


This role plays a critical part in maintaining quality standards, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting the safe and compliant delivery of aerospace components.


What You Will Do

In this role, you will:

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection of incoming customer-owned parts in accordance with Manufacturer Engine Manuals, purchase orders, repair tickets, and internal traveler documentation
  • Prepare Overhaul/Repair (O/R) teardown documentation and verify completion of required signoffs, dates, and stamps
  • Conduct in-process inspections of customer-owned parts following Manufacturer Engine Manuals and internal traveler requirements
  • Review traveler and teardown documentation for completeness and accuracy
  • Perform final inspections of completed parts to ensure compliance with Manufacturer Engine Manuals, approved teardown sheets, and customer requirements
  • Verify all documentation is complete with required approvals and traceability
  • Inspect all supplier-provided and internally produced details in accordance with Manufacturer Engine Manuals, operation sheets, and FAA/customer-approved repair procedures
  • Assemble, verify, and maintain all gauges required for production inspection activities
  • Maintain and control inspection stamps in accordance with documented quality procedures
  • Review and approve purchase orders related to shippable product
  • Maintain accurate, neat quality records and a clean, organized work environment
  • Support quality and production teams with additional duties as required
  • What You Bring

    Required Qualifications

    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation including:
        Blueprint Reading
    • Operation sheetsTravelersManufacturer Engine Manuals and related publicationsFAA/EASA regulations and requirements
  • Blueprint reading
  • Proficiency in using relevant computer systems, inspection tools, and measurement equipment
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and technical skills
  • Preferred Skills

    • Prior experience in aerospace inspection
    • Familiarity with borescope inspection, CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), and precision measurement tools
    • Experience working in regulated environments (FAA, EASA, aerospace manufacturing)
    • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

    Physical & Work Requirements

    • Ability to perform physical activities including sitting, standing, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
    • Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 50 pounds with assistance
    • Visual requirements include:
