Telecommunications Operations | Field Coordination | Construction Support
Location: Novi, MI
Position Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Full-Time Opportunity | 40+ Hours Weekly Available
Starting Pay: $18/hr

SUMMARY: Next Solutions is seeking a highly organized and motivated Drop Bury Administrator, Field Operations Coordinator, Dispatch Coordinator, Telecommunications Administrator, and Construction Support Coordinator to support day-to-day field operations in the Novi, Michigan market.
This position serves as a critical link between field technicians, customers, and operational leadership by coordinating work orders, scheduling technicians, maintaining project documentation, and ensuring jobs move efficiently from assignment through completion.
As field support needs fluctuate, this role may also provide assistance with drop bury operations in the field, creating opportunities for additional earnings and hands-on industry experience.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who excels at managing multiple priorities, coordinating field operations, supporting customers, and contributing to the success of a growing telecommunications organization.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Coordinate and manage daily drop bury work orders
- Schedule technicians and maintain project timelines
- Communicate with customers regarding appointments, project status, and job completion updates
- Track completed work and ensure documentation is accurate and complete
- Enter, update, and maintain job information in company systems
- Assist with reporting, invoicing, and administrative support activities
- Support field technicians by coordinating schedules and helping resolve operational issues
- Monitor work order status and follow up on outstanding items
- Maintain organized project records and supporting documentation
- Partner with leadership to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction
- Assist with field-based drop bury work when operational needs allow
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Previous administrative, customer service, dispatch, scheduling, operations, or coordinator experience preferred
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office or similar business applications
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience supporting field operations, service teams, construction projects, or telecommunications teams preferred
- Ability to work independently and exercise good judgment
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness to assist with field work when opportunities are available

WORK HOURS & LOCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- This is an in-person position based at our Novi, MI shop.
- The role primarily supports office and operations functions while coordinating field activity throughout the service area (Great Lakes, Evansville, and Louisville operations).
- Occasional travel to field locations may be required.
- The typical schedule is 40+ hours per week, with flexibility to support operational demands as needed.
