Summary
The Physician Practice Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of multiple Physician Practices and will oversee more than one location across the St Clair service area, and multiple physicians/clinicians which may include different specialties. This responsibility includes daily oversight and supervision of all the operations to ensure that the practices are delivering a superior patient experience, while optimizing productivity and efficiency. The Physician Practice Manager is responsible for the management of teams which includes site based Office Managers and Coordinators, implementation of policies, procedures, process redesign, and the ability to foster engagement of team members and a culture of partnership with providers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Must meet one of the following:
- High school graduate or equivalent and 6 years of healthcare management experience
- Associate’s degree and 4 years of healthcare management experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of healthcare management experience
- Advanced knowledge of personal computers, the Windows operating system, Microsoft Office software and medical office practice management systems.
- Strong supervisory skills with emphasis on team building and change management.
- Ability to travel between multiple practice locations.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree in a healthcare or business related field.
