Plant Front Desk Administrator / Receptionist
Location: Woodruff, SC
Schedule: Full-Time, Onsite

About the Role
We are seeking a professional, organized, and dependable Plant Front Desk Administrator / Receptionist to support daily front desk and administrative operations at our manufacturing facility. This role will serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel entering the plant.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and will bring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to balance front desk responsibilities with administrative support tasks. This position is less focused on concierge-style reception and more focused on supporting plant operations, visitor coordination, building access, documentation, and general office administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet andassistemployees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel in a professional and friendly manner.
- Manage front desk coverage for the plant, including answering phones, directing calls, and routing visitors appropriately.
- Support building access procedures, including visitor sign-in, badges, entry coordination, and communication with internal contacts.
- Help ensure visitors and vendors follow site safety and security procedures.
- Coordinate with HR, Operations, Facilities, and other departments as needed for visitor access, meetings, onboarding support, and general administrative needs.
- Maintain front desk logs, visitor records, sign-in sheets, and other documentation accurately.
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, and deliveries.
- Assistwith scheduling, meeting room coordination, office supply tracking, and basic administrative projects.
- Support plant communication needs, including posting notices, updating forms, and helping distribute internal information.
- Provide administrative support for onboarding, employee badges, training documentation, or other plant-related records as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk/reception area.
- Assistwithadditionaladministrative duties and specialprojects asassigned.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in reception, front desk administration, office administration, plant administration, or a related administrative support role.
- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, distribution, industrial, or plant environment is preferred.
- Strong communicationand customer service skills.
- Ability to professionally interact with employees, visitors, vendors, contractors, and leadership.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
- Comfortable managing visitor access, sign-in processes, badges, and basic site security protocols.
- Proficiencywith Microsoft Office, Outlook, Teams, and general office systems.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy front desk environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working fully onsite.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree oradditionaladministrative training preferred.
