VP of Finance / Head of Finance in Warsaw at Sowelo Consulting sp. z o.o. sp. k.

On behalf of a fast-scaling European technology enterprise developing advanced physical infrastructure and specialised communications hardware, Sowelo Consulting is conducting an executive search for a commercially focused VP of Finance / Head of Finance based in Warsaw.

Partnering directly with the Chief Executive Officer, you will serve as the financial leader shaping the company's financial structure, operational scalability, and capital strategy as the organisation prepares for major institutional investment (Series A/B).

• Venture Financing & Investor Relations: Drive the upcoming Series A equity raise alongside the Chief Executive. Own all financial modelling, virtual data room administration, institutional due diligence, and target international VC networks for future funding cycles.

• Commercial FP&A & Corporate Strategy: Translate business milestones into multi-year financial forecasts, strategic scenarios, and board-level reporting. Collaborate with sales and product teams to optimise enterprise contract margins and global pricing strategies.

• Hardware Unit Economics & Cash Flow: Direct COGS optimisation and margin expansion for physical production. Manage complex supply chain liquidity, inventory financing, and secure non-dilutive credit facilities or venture debt.

• Non-Dilutive Capital & Governance: Maximise utilisation and compliance for major governmental/EU innovation grants. Oversee international entity setup, transfer pricing policies, and scale the core finance team post-investment.

• 8–10+ years in progressive corporate finance, including at least 5 years in senior leadership (Head of Finance, VP, CFO) within hardware, deep-tech, telecom equipment, aerospace, or advanced manufacturing sectors.

• Equity & Debt Execution: Proven background helping lead institutional fundraising rounds (Series A/B) or cross-border tech transactions, combined with expertise in debt facilities and non-dilutive innovation grants.

• Operational & Manufacturing Acumen: Strong grasp of production cost modelling, capital expenditure cycles, long B2B enterprise sales, and working capital management for physical products.

• Executive Presence: Demonstrated success advising Founders and Boards, with excellent communication skills and C2-level English fluency for international investor engagements.

• Key leadership seat in a high-growth tech business scaling globally.

• Direct influence over commercial strategy, fundraising, and organisational structure.

• High-autonomy environment with flexible hybrid arrangements in Warsaw.
