This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Regional Account Director – Central based in the United States.
This is a territory-owning sales leadership role focused on expanding healthcare program adoption across the Central U.S.
You’ll build and manage a high-performing pipeline of physician practices, clinics, and hospital networks.
The role combines strategic territory planning with hands-on field sales, relationship development, and account growth.
You’ll execute established sales playbooks while adapting your approach to the unique dynamics of your market.
Success will be measured through pipeline health, quota attainment, revenue growth, script volume, and long-term account retention.
You’ll work closely with Account Management, Marketing, and Sales Operations to deliver a consistent experience from prospecting through account transition.

- Own the complete territory sales pipeline, from identifying physician, clinic, and hospital network prospects through outreach, engagement, conversion, and ongoing pipeline management.
- Execute national sales strategies, call plans, playbooks, and territory coverage models while tailoring tactics to Central territory opportunities and market conditions.
- Drive adoption of enhanced healthcare and pharmaceutical service programs by clearly communicating their value to physicians, clinics, and hospital networks.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key healthcare stakeholders, developing target accounts into long-term, retained business.
- Meet or exceed territory-level goals for conversion, revenue growth, and prescription/script volume.
- Maintain disciplined CRM practices, accurate pipeline stages, and reliable forecasts while providing regular performance visibility to sales leadership.
- Provide field intelligence, competitive insights, and market feedback to help improve targeting, account coverage, and broader sales strategy.
- Partner with Account Management, Marketing, and Sales Operations to ensure smooth account transitions, aligned messaging, and a consistent customer experience.
- Take ownership of territory priorities and proactively identify opportunities to expand account relationships and improve commercial performance.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of direct sales experience with a demonstrated history of quota attainment and ownership of a sales pipeline.
- Experience in physician sales, field sales execution, or account management within a defined geographic territory.
- Strong understanding of physician sales cycles, call planning, territory management, pipeline development, and CRM processes.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with physicians, clinics, hospital networks, and other healthcare stakeholders.
- Ability to execute structured sales playbooks and coverage models while adapting tactics to local market conditions and customer needs.
- Strong forecasting, organization, and pipeline-management discipline, with a focus on accurate data and measurable outcomes.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of territory performance in a remote environment.
- Experience in hub-market, pharmacy, healthcare technology, or related sales is preferred.
- Experience launching a new product or program within an established territory or account base is preferred.
- Familiarity with the hub-market, pharmacy, or healthcare technology landscape is a plus.
- Must reside within the Central territory, covering North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Oklahoma, or Texas.
- Willingness to travel throughout the territory to support key accounts and field sales activities.
- Salary: $100,000–$160,000 annually.
- Sales incentives: Eligibility for additional Sales Incentive Compensation tied to territory quota attainment and script volume production.
- Work arrangement: Remote position with travel throughout the Central territory.
