Position Summary:
The UNM-Valencia Campus is seeking candidatesfor temporary, part-time faculty to teach 1000and 2000 level Fine Arts courses. This will bea recruitment for spring 2027 semester.

Located about 30miles south of Albuquerque in rural Valencia county, the University of NewMexico-Valencia Campus is a two-year branch campus of the University of NewMexico which functions as a community college in the region and is designated aHispanic Serving Institution. With an emphasis on teaching excellence, ValenciaCampus offers academic transfer programs, technical vocational programs, AdultEducation, and Dual Credit High School/College courses to Valencia and SocorroCounties.

• A master's degree in Fine Arts

• AnMFA in Fine Arts (or related field)
• One year of fine arts teaching experience at a community college
• A demonstrated commitment to cultivate anunderstanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the successof the university's mission to serve local and global communities
