This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Healthcare Data Analyst (Medicaid) based in India.

This is a senior data analytics opportunity focused on using healthcare data to strengthen Medicaid program oversight.
You will analyze large and complex datasets to identify patterns, vulnerabilities, and potential areas of fraud, waste, and abuse.
The role combines advanced analytics, Medicaid policy knowledge, research, and data visualization to turn complex information into actionable insights.
You’ll work closely with technical teams and leadership to investigate challenging questions and develop practical analytical solutions.
Your findings will help inform decisions with meaningful implications for program integrity and public-sector healthcare outcomes.

Accountabilities
  • Perform advanced analysis, interpretation, and reporting of Medicaid data, developing methodologies and analytical approaches that support program oversight.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify meaningful patterns, trends, anomalies, vulnerabilities, and high-risk areas within the Medicaid program.
  • Conduct research combining Medicaid policy knowledge with detailed claims analysis to investigate potential fraud, waste, abuse, and other program integrity concerns.
  • Develop analytical rules, methodologies, and solutions that translate complex healthcare data into actionable insights.
  • Apply exploratory research and critical thinking to understand program requirements and determine how data can inform decision-making.
  • Build compelling data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that communicate complex findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Present analytical conclusions and recommendations through written, verbal, and visual communication.
  • Collaborate proactively with leadership and multidisciplinary team members to identify solutions to complex analytical challenges.
  • Contribute to data-driven approaches that support the detection and prevention of fraud, waste, and abuse across Medicaid programs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline and 5+ years of professional experience conducting advanced analysis of Medicaid data.
  • Strong hands-on experience with T-MSIS data and demonstrated expertise analyzing Medicaid datasets.
  • Proficiency with SQL, Python, Tableau, Databricks, Snowflake, or comparable data analytics, reporting, dashboarding, and visualization technologies.
  • Proven ability to work efficiently with large and complex datasets and uncover actionable patterns and trends.
  • Experience developing advanced analytical solutions that address business or program challenges through a strong understanding of Medicaid policy.
  • Demonstrated experience creating analytics and visualization solutions designed to identify and help prevent healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse.
  • Strong statistical analysis, research, data interpretation, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to translate complex analytical findings into clear recommendations for audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence presenting findings to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Strong collaboration skills combined with the ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of complex analytical assignments.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the required NACI (Tier 1) public trust designation.
  • Willingness to work remotely with limited travel, expected to be less than 10%.

  • Competitive estimated salary range of $106,250–$143,750 USD annually, with final compensation based on experience, location, and applicable contractual considerations.
