Job Description
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of hospitality, service, and operational excellence while upholding FARMSHOP’s commitment to exceptional food and experiences.
The Famous Farmshop Santa Monica / Brentwood is a 7 day operation, providing restaurant service and market service. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch/brunch and dinner.

- Must have bar program experience as this is vital to the role.

Education and Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar or related role is required.
- Proven experience in restaurant management, with experience in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a focus on building positive relationships with guests and team members.
- Strong business acumen and financial management skills, with the ability to analyze financial data, develop budgets, and achieve financial targets.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Knowledge of local food and beverage trends, culinary techniques, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in restaurant management software such as TOAST POS. Google. Margin Edge. Microsoft..
- ServSafe Food Safety Manager Certification.
- Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) Certification is required.

Ability to effectively present information, provide instructions and thoroughly answer questions in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization in English.
Reasoning Ability and Computer Skills:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to efficiently use inventory, ordering & computer systems or applications and Microsoft Office programs.
