Account Executive [Healthcare | Master Data Management Sales]

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Executive [Healthcare | Master Data Management Sales] based in the United States.

This role is designed for an experienced enterprise sales professional with deep expertise in Master Data Management and healthcare technology.
You’ll focus heavily on new-logo acquisition while also expanding relationships and revenue within existing accounts.
The position combines strategic territory planning, consultative selling, complex deal management, and executive-level engagement.
You’ll work with healthcare organizations to understand data challenges and connect them with solutions that create measurable business value.
Success requires navigating complex buying groups, building relationships with senior decision-makers, and managing large, multi-stakeholder SaaS transactions.
You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, sales support, and internal specialists to generate pipeline and develop compelling customer value propositions.

Accountabilities
  • Develop and manage a strategic territory plan using account research, business initiatives, customer challenges, and value hypotheses to prioritize opportunities.
  • Define and continuously refine account-specific sales strategies for target healthcare organizations.
  • Research prospective customers to understand their operational challenges, data environments, business priorities, and desired outcomes.
  • Map customer pain points to relevant Master Data Management solutions and articulate clear, compelling business and financial value.
  • Manage a disciplined enterprise sales process, identifying key stakeholders, economic buyers, decision criteria, decision processes, champions, compelling events, and measurable outcomes.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through personal networks, territory knowledge, account research, outbound prospecting, and coordinated marketing campaigns.
  • Partner with marketing and sales support teams to execute targeted territory campaigns and generate qualified opportunities.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists and cross-functional resources to demonstrate how solutions can address customer requirements and support their financial and strategic objectives.
  • Maintain precise and consistent communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure expectations, commitments, and next steps are clearly understood and delivered.
  • Coordinate contracting and negotiations with prospective customers and internal teams to achieve commercially sound agreements.
  • Continue developing customer relationships after the initial sale, ensuring customers recognize sustained and measurable value while identifying opportunities for account growth.
  • Achieve and exceed forecasted revenue objectives, with a strong emphasis on new business acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasting, and pipeline information using relevant sales and collaboration technologies.
  • Follow established privacy, security, and compliance policies and proactively protect the confidentiality and security of systems and customer information.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
  • 5+ years of demonstrated experience selling Master Data Management (MDM) software, with strong expertise in enterprise data solutions.
  • Proven experience selling data-managed systems or software to the healthcare industry.
  • Track record of closing large SaaS transactions of $250K+ ACV, involving multiple stakeholders and complex buying processes.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise-level initiatives and the ability to identify customer pain points, business priorities, and measurable value.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizations and engage effectively with C-level executives and other senior decision-makers.
  • Strong territory planning, account strategy, pipeline development, forecasting, negotiation, and closing capabilities.
  • Exceptional public speaking and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively.
  • Excellent written communication and business writing skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities effectively.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Gong, SalesLoft, SharePoint collaboration tools, and Apple Mac technology.
  • Highly curious, customer-focused, and consultative approach to enterprise selling.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with a genuine interest in contributing to a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and internal stakeholders while maintaining a strong focus on revenue outcomes.
  • Industry expertise and location will be considered when determining appropriate territory alignment.
