The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Service Writers to add to our maintenance team. This position will be out of our Bonnyville shop. This person is the primary point of contact end to end work order management, preventative and predictive maintenance schedules with reporting duties to the Shop Foreman and Equipment Manager.

Responsibilities:

Review equipment status daily, initiate system transfersReview the shop schedule with the foreman dailyMonitor service progress and update completion dates while collaborating with the shop foremanAssist with third party vendor schedules Promptly and accurately create and close work orders for maintenance departmentAccurately track equipment repair costs through purchase orders and work ordersVerify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papersAssist shop foreman and management with compliance including internal policies, procedures and SOPs, WHMIS, TDG, forklift and crane training, etc

Requirements:

Knowledge of water trucks, semi-vacs, hot oilers etc. required.Proficiency with industry-specific software3-5 years experienceExcellent communication and customer service skillsA strong sense of integrity, reliability, and professionalismStrong organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skillsThe ability to communicate with mechanics, customers, and managementPossess strong computer skills, able to read, write, and comprehend written instructional documents in EnglishExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
