Job Description
AndHealth is on a mission to radically improve access and outcomes for the most challenging chronic health conditions, with the goal of making world-class specialty care accessible and affordable to all. We partner with health systems, community health centers, and independent practices to remove barriers to care to ensure all people have access to the care they deserve.
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to serve as a dedicated data partner. In this role, you will bridge the gap between raw data and strategic action—owning the domain end-to-end from transformation logic to semantic layers, modern AI-driven analysis, and executive-level dashboards.
What You’ll Do:
- Translate Strategy into Metrics: Partner directly with operational and product leaders to turn ambiguous business questions into governed, standardized metric definitions in the semantic layer.
- Build Scalable Data Models: Architect modular data transformations across staging, intermediate, and dimensional mart layers to power both self-service analytics and executive reporting.
- Leverage AI & Modern Tooling: Integrate AI-assisted workflows (e.g., LLM-assisted query generation, automated data quality/anomaly detection, and automated modeling tools) to accelerate analytical velocity and platform reliability.
- Deliver Actionable Visualizations: Design high-impact dashboards and client-facing reporting (using tools like Looker, Omni, or Metabase) to highlight performance trends and business opportunities.
- Ensure Data Quality & Trust: Build comprehensive automated test suites, schema checks, and SLA monitoring to proactively capture upstream anomalies before they hit production reports.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Software Engineering on raw data ingestion and work alongside Client Management to build data-driven value stories for business reviews.
Qualifications
- Experience: 6+ years in a data analytics role with a track record of driving end-to-end data products and working directly with business stakeholders.
- Data Modeling: Strong foundation in dimensional modeling principles (facts, dimensions, and data mart architecture).
- Advanced SQL & Scripting: Strong mastery of complex SQL (window functions, performance tuning, CTEs) alongside practical experience in Python or R for exploratory data analysis.
- Modern AI Tooling: Familiarity with AI-powered development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, AI data observability platforms, or LLM integrations) to streamline code generation, testing, and documentation.
- BI & Analytics Systems: Hands-on experience building metric layers and reports in modern BI tools (Looker, Omni, Metabase, or similar enterprise visualization platforms).
Nice-to-Have Qualifications:
- dbt Proficiency: Hands-on experience with dbt (Core or Cloud) for building transformations, managing modular data models, and setting up testing suites.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent practical experience).
Here’s what we’d like to offer you:
- Equal investment and support for our people and patients.
- A fun and ambitious growing environment with a culture that takes on important things, takes risks, and learns quickly.
- The ability to demonstrate creativity, innovation, and conscientiousness, and find joy in working together.
- A team of highly skilled, incredibly kind, and welcoming employees, every one of whom has something unique to offer.
- We know that the overall success of our business is a collaborative effort, and we strive to provide ongoing opportunities for our employees to learn and grow, both personally and professionally.
- Full-time employees are eligible to participate in our benefits package which includes Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance, Paid time off, Short- and Long-Term Disability, 401k match and more.
