Job Description

BrightKey is hiring! As a Records Management Analyst, you will support records and information management (RIM) activities by managing, securing, maintaining, and organizing physical and digital records throughout their lifecycle. This includes records creation, retention, transfer, and disposition.
Key Information:
  • Hourly pay rate is $35.64 per hour plus $5.42 per hour health & welfare (total $41.06/hr)
  • On-site in Washington, DC (Smithsonian Area)
  • First Shift, Monday through Friday

Job Requirements:
  • Top Secret clearance is required, candidates with an interim Secret Clearance may be considered.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in administrative or executive secretary/admin role is required.
  • Ideally, candidates will have prior experience in records management and/or filing role.
  • Strong attention to detail is a critical skill/ability in this position.
  • Must have good organizational and time management skills.

Job Duties:
  • Provide direct support to a wide range of Records and Information Management (RIM) Program functions.
  • Support records management activities across the full records lifecycle, including records creation, maintenance, retention, transfer, and disposition.
  • Properly store, secure and maintain historical, permanent, physical and digital documents.
  • Obtain electronic records information from those off-boarding, using agency tools to ensure the information is accessible to others.
  • Create, manage and maintain electronic and physical documents that appropriately document the agency activities, including SharePoint and other document management platforms.
