Position Summary:
iAnthus is seeking a Compliance Leader to support licensed cannabis cultivation, processing, transportation, and dispensing operations in Florida under McCrory’s Sunnyhill Nursery. This role is responsible for helping ensure day-to-day compliance with Florida cannabis regulations, company policies, security requirements, inventory controls, and operational procedures across multiple licensed facilities and business functions. The Compliance Leader will work closely with operational leadership, retail teams, cultivation and manufacturing personnel, security, quality assurance, and corporate compliance leadership to maintain a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and regulatory readiness. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in fast-paced operational environments, and capable of balancing regulatory expectations with practical business operations.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
This role will involve both office and operational facility environments, including cultivation, processing, and retail locations. The position may require standing, walking operational floors, reviewing secured areas, and participating in facility inspections and audits.

Position Summary:
iAnthus is seeking a Compliance Leader to support licensed cannabis cultivation, processing, transportation, and dispensing operations in Florida under McCrory’s Sunnyhill Nursery. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support compliance oversight for cultivation, processing, transportation, and dispensary operations in Florida.
- Conduct routine operational audits and inspections to verify compliance with state regulations, company SOPs, and internal controls.
- Assist with regulatory reporting, variance requests, corrective action plans, and responses to regulatory inquiries.
- Monitor and evaluate inventory controls, chain-of-custody processes, product tracking, and seed-to-sale system accuracy.
- Review operational records, logs, manifests, surveillance retention practices, and security procedures for compliance.
- Support compliance investigations involving inventory discrepancies, operational incidents, diversion concerns, or process failures.
- Assist with implementation and maintenance of compliance-related SOPs, policies, forms, and training programs.
- Train employees and leadership teams on compliance requirements, operational expectations, and regulatory changes.
- Partner with Security, Retail, Cultivation, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to ensure consistent execution of compliance standards.
- Help prepare facilities for inspections, audits, and regulatory visits by the Florida Office of Medical Marijuana Use (OMMU).
- Track regulatory developments and assist operational leaders with implementation of new requirements.
- Support onboarding and offboarding compliance processes, including credential verification and agent-related requirements.
- Assist with monitoring adherence to security protocols, restricted access procedures, visitor management, and incident reporting expectations.
- Promote a culture of operational accountability, documentation accuracy, and proactive risk management.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent operational or compliance experience will be considered.
- 3+ years of experience in cannabis compliance, regulated operations, quality assurance, auditing, security, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of Florida cannabis regulations and operational compliance requirements preferred.
- Experience working in highly regulated industries strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with seed-to-sale tracking systems such as Metrc preferred.
- Experience conducting audits, investigations, inspections, or compliance reviews.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Ability to travel between facilities as needed.
- Cannabis cultivation, manufacturing, or dispensary operational experience.
- Regulatory inspection readiness or audit preparation experience.
- Experience developing or implementing SOPs and compliance training programs.
- Knowledge of physical security systems, surveillance requirements, or inventory control processes.
