Description:
We are looking for a Production Manager to lead and oversee operations at our Arizona facility within a manufacturing environment. This role is accountable for driving operational efficiency, achieving production targets, upholding quality standards, and managing a high-performing team. The Production Manager will execute responsibilities directly or through supervisory staff to ensure reliable, on-time production outcomes.
Requirements:Key Responsibilities
Operations & Production Management- Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations.
- Establish priorities, workflows, and production sequences to meet delivery commitments.
- Track daily production metrics and ensure adherence to schedules.
- Lead daily production meetings and communicate updates across departments.
- Allocate labor and resources effectively across MT/MC, ME, and MG departments.
- Coordinate with Sales and Shipping regarding production status and potential issues.
- Ensure 100% on-time delivery through scheduling and resource planning.
- Open and close the facility, ensuring operational readiness and security.
- Recruit, interview, hire, train, and develop employees.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
- Cross-train team members to improve efficiency and flexibility.
- Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.
- Build strong team morale and promote collaboration.
- Maintain flexible work schedules when necessary to meet production goals.
- Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams to develop and refine operational standards.
- Monitor processes to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Implement lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate production and employee performance records.
- Review and approve employee timecards.
- Schedule vacations to maintain staffing levels and production targets.
- Maintain communication across all departments and with senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
