Job Description
INFANT/TODDLER TEACHER ASSISTANT
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Under the direct supervision of the Teacher-Infant/Toddler, the Teacher Assistant-Infant/Toddler will assist in managing the classroom, playground supervision of children, preparing materials for learning activities, participating with and guiding children in learning activities, assist in providing safe and sanitary environments for children and working with parents/legal guardians in reference to planning for children’s needs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma/GED and have an Infant/Toddler CDA credential (OR) are enrolled in a program that will lead to an associate or bachelor’s degree in child development or early childhood education (OR) are enrolled in a CDA credential program to be completed within two years of the date of hire.
COMPENSATION:Bullitt/Eminence/Gallatin/Henry/Oldham/Owen/Shelby/Spencer/Trimble $15.74 - $24.15
BENEFITS: State Health Insurance, State Pension: CERS, 100% Tuition covered for IECE or ECE degrees, $500 signing/$500 Retention bonus, 8 weeks of paid parental leave in addition to paid sick and annual leave.
