In-Home Support Caregiver – Rochester Hills in Rochester Hills, Michigan at CareOne Senior Care

CareOne Senior Care is looking for a reliable and caring caregiver to join our team for a full-time position in Rochester Hills. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others, providing dependable support, and getting to know the person they care for.

Monday–Friday: 11:00 AM–8:00 PM
Saturday–Sunday: 11:00 AM–7:00 PM

Consistent hours are available for someone who can reliably work this schedule.

This is a non-medical home care position providing day-to-day assistance and companionship. The client is fairly independent but benefits from help with household activities, transportation, meals, errands, and maintaining a comfortable routine.

• Spend time with the client and provide friendly companionship

• Help with light cleaning, laundry, and household organization

• Prepare meals and assist with meal-related tasks

• Provide medication reminders as outlined in the care plan

• Transport the client in their vehicle when needed

• Assist with errands and scheduled appointments

• Encourage a safe and comfortable home environment

• Provide assistance with the client's normal daily routine

• Keep the office and family informed of important updates

• Complete required shift documentation

• 18 years of age or older

• Valid driver's license

• Comfortable operating the client's vehicle

• Good driving history preferred

• Dependable transportation to the client's home

• Reliable and punctual

• Professional and respectful communication

• Able to perform the essential duties of the position

• Able to lift up to 25 pounds

• Successful completion of required background screening

• Current TB test or willingness to complete one

• Access to a reliable phone for communication and scheduling

Previous home care experience is a plus, but we are willing to consider dependable candidates who are new to caregiving.

• $14–$17 per hour

• Some specialty assignments offer up to $20 per hour
