You don't need prior insurance experience. If you know how to build relationships, communicate with customers, follow up consistently, and work toward measurable goals, you'll receive the training and support needed to develop your insurance career.

- Build relationships with prospects and identify opportunities to meet their insurance needs.
- Learn to present insurance solutions, explain coverage options, and close new business.
- Follow up with leads and prospects through phone calls and other communication.
- Generate new business and work toward established sales and production goals.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell additional insurance products.
- Develop customer relationships that support long-term retention and growth.
- Learn the fundamentals of marketing, prospecting, and building a sustainable book of business.
- Gain hands-on exposure to the sales and operational side of running an insurance agency.
- Participate in Farmers training and licensing programs as required.
- Work directly with the District Manager and experienced agency owners for coaching, guidance, and professional development.
- Progress through a structured 6–7 month development program designed to prepare you for the next stage of your career.

- An entrepreneurial mindset and interest in eventually owning a business.
- The ability to work independently while actively using coaching and feedback.
- A willingness to learn the insurance industry and obtain required licenses.
