Position Summary
Position: Parts Advisor
Classification : Full Time; Non -Exempt
Reports To: Parts Manager
Work Location: In person; 5225 I-10, Baytown TX
Essential Duties include but are not limited to:
- Expert Advising: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and technicians, using your Stellantis knowledge to identify and quote the correct parts from the very first time.
- Inventory and Order Management: Execute orders, manage returns, and process cores and warranties by following our optimized processes to minimize errors and maximize efficiency.
- Financial Accuracy: Ensure the correct invoicing of all parts and the allocation of additional charges like freight, contributing directly to the department's profitability.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with all workshop staff, maintaining fluid communication and respecting processes to guarantee fast, high-quality service.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional appearance and work ethic.
- Essential Requirement: Demonstrable experience with Stellantis (Mopar) parts.
- Additional Experience: Experience with the CDK system is a plus.
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor in a dealership setting.
- Top-tier communication and customer service skills.
- High attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
- A valid driver's license.
Relevant Work Experience & Other Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age
- All applicants must pass pre-employment screening which includes Background Check, Drug Test, and MVR
- Must have clean driving record, and be licensed for a minimum of 3 years to be insurable
- Must be able to work Saturdays and up to 40 hours per week
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to drive, stand, bend, and/ or walk for extended periods of time
- Lift up to 50 pounds
