Pricing Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Pricing Manager based in the United States.

This role offers an opportunity to lead pricing strategy and financial analysis across complex federal government contracting opportunities.
You’ll develop competitive cost models, proposal pricing, and price-to-win analyses that directly influence business development and growth.
The position spans the full contract lifecycle, from capture and proposal development through modifications, REAs, budgeting, and post-award financial planning.
You’ll work closely with Business Development, Operations, Finance, and Contracts to translate complex requirements into compliant and commercially sound pricing solutions.
Your analysis will help improve win probability, strengthen pricing discipline, and support profitable execution across active programs.
The ideal candidate combines strong federal pricing expertise with advanced financial modeling, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively under tight proposal timelines.
This is a full-time remote opportunity, with candidates required to be located in South Carolina, Nashville, or Austin.

Accountabilities
  • Develop compliant and competitive pricing and cost proposals for federal solicitations, including RFPs, RFQs, IDIQs, MATOCs, and Task Orders.
  • Review solicitation requirements, pricing instructions, wage determinations, collective bargaining agreements, and cost or price evaluation factors to ensure accurate and compliant pricing.
  • Build detailed cost models for integrated facilities management services, including operations and maintenance, minor repairs, facility construction and repair projects up to $250,000, labor, fringe, H&W, ODCs, subcontractors, equipment, materials, and indirect costs.
  • Conduct price-to-win research and competitive pricing analysis to support capture strategies and improve proposal win probability.
  • Develop pricing narratives, justifications, basis-of-estimate documentation, and supporting proposal materials.
  • Perform pricing analysis for contract modifications, scope changes, engineering changes, funding adjustments, and other negotiated actions.
  • Develop Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REAs) and supporting documentation in accordance with applicable Federal Acquisition Regulation requirements.
  • Prepare detailed pricing backup, impact calculations, and negotiation support packages for contract actions.
  • Partner with Operations and Contracts to assess cost impacts, profitability, and financial implications of modifications and negotiated actions.
  • Support negotiations with government contracting officers when required.
  • Support annual operating budgets and financial planning cycles, including site-level budgets for existing operations and facilities service contracts.
  • Develop financial models and forecasts for awarded programs and analyze cost performance, burn rates, staffing plans, and key cost drivers.
  • Provide recurring pricing and budget analysis to Business Development and Finance leadership.
  • Deliver accurate pricing models, cost proposals, REA packages, contract modification pricing, budget forecasts, site-level budgets, and competitive pricing analyses.
  • Improve pricing processes, documentation, audit readiness, cycle times, and overall pricing discipline across the organization.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in federal government pricing, preferably supporting federal services, operations and maintenance, base operations support, facilities management, or minor construction and repair programs.
  • Strong understanding of federal contracting processes, pricing methodologies, and Federal Acquisition Regulation cost principles.
  • Demonstrated experience developing pricing for federal proposals, including RFPs, RFQs, IDIQs, MATOCs, Task Orders, and other government solicitations.
  • Experience interpreting complex solicitation requirements, pricing instructions, wage determinations, collective bargaining agreements, and SCA/DBA labor rules.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong financial modeling capabilities, with the ability to build, manipulate, and analyze detailed cost models.
  • Experience with government cost and price evaluation requirements, price-to-win strategies, and competitive positioning.
  • Experience supporting contract modifications, REAs, scope changes, funding adjustments, and other post-award pricing actions.
  • Experience with budget modeling, financial forecasting, cost analysis, and profitability assessment for government service contracts.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to identify cost drivers, evaluate financial impacts, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written communication skills, particularly for pricing narratives, cost justifications, basis-of-estimate documentation, and negotiation support materials.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in fast-paced capture and proposal environments.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with Business Development, Operations, Finance, and Contracts teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
  • Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and a commitment to pricing accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
Benefits
  • Full-time, remote position with location eligibility in South Carolina, Nashville, or Austin.
  • Opportunity to play a direct role in federal business development, capture strategy, pricing, and financial planning.
  • Exposure to the full contract lifecycle, from competitive proposals and price-to-win analysis through contract modifications, REAs, and post-award budgeting.
  • Collaborative environment working closely with Business Development, Operations, Finance, and Contracts professionals.
  • Opportunity to improve and mature pricing processes, documentation, forecasting, and financial controls.
  • High-impact role with direct influence on proposal competitiveness, contract profitability, and organizational growth.
  • Exempt position with full-time employment status.
