Job Description
The CAD Scanner supports the day-to-day digital workflow of the BonaDent laboratory in Augusta, GA. This role is responsible for accurately scanning incoming dental cases and preparing digital files in accordance with BonaDent standards. The CAD Scanner works closely with CAD designers and production partners to ensure cases are processed efficiently, accurately, and on time.

Scanning and Digital Case Preparation
- Scan incoming dental cases accurately and efficiently according to BonaDent standards.
- Prepare digital case files for single units, bridges, ACC cases, implants, and other assigned case types.
- Review prescriptions and case information to ensure appropriate digital workflow setup.
- Verify that scans are complete, clear, and properly aligned before releasing cases to the next stage of production.
- Support the accurate organization, labeling, and routing of digital files within the department workflow.
Workflow and Production Support
Meet daily production requirements and support on-time case movement through the CAD department.
Prioritize work effectively to support turnaround times and departmental goals.
Assist with workload balancing and case flow as directed by the supervisor.
Adapt to changing priorities and production demands in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Support cross-training and continued development in additional digital workflows as assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Dental laboratory experience preferred.
- Experience with digital scanning workflows or CAD/CAM processes preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and visual accuracy.
- Manual dexterity, good motor skills, and comfort working with small objects and hand tools.
- Ability to read and follow written instructions, prescriptions, and workflow directions.
- Ability to work on deadlines, manage multiple priorities, and maintain quality in a production environment.
- Ability to take constructive feedback and adjust performance accordingly.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn digital workflow systems.
- Ability to conduct oneself in a professional manner at all times.
